DGM/GM - Strategy - Chairman's Office - FMCG/Chemicals Business

PURPOSE:

Associated with Chairman's Office, the incumbent shall be tasked with assessing organizational performance, developing achievable goals and implementing processes that improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage.

He/She/They shall assist to drive strategic/business projects and generate analytical report for senior management to take informed decisions. He/She/ They shall make recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks and formulate plans to achieve an organization's long-term goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (include but not limited to)

Strategy :

- Support the development and implementation of long-term organizational strategy and KPIs in the short term.

- Conduct research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.

- Align with the departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy.

- Assess market trends and competitors. Also, identify threats and opportunities.

- Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions.

- Market scoping to identify investment avenues within the existing business

Data Analytics :

- Perform analytics on available data and generate various reports/presentations for senior management

- Providing financial analytics to Business/Functions and assist them in decision making

- Responsible for data-driven storytelling through quantitative analysis, dashboards and data visualization

- Deliver transformative and innovative client projects on-time and on-budget.

Consulting :L

- Assessing new businesses for potential investments and present to the senior management.

- Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.

- Provide commentaries and business insights on variance under different scenarios and time periods

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Post-graduate degree from tier one institutes with a confident personality and a pleasing disposition

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in market research, strategy, consulting data analytics and or financial modelling

- Flexible, smart with strong analytical and presentation skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
