We are at present having a senior position as DGM / GM, REFINERY PROCUREMENT for a reputed Indian EPC company for Kolkata location: Type of Role : People Manager Role Reporting to Executive Vice President Job description: - Coordinate and assist procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, evaluating new technologies at the time of tender, vendor evaluation and finalization. - In-time Procurement, finalization of Contractor / Vendor, Project Quality, time and cost compliance - Leads and contributes to significant third-party cost reduction, cost avoidance, other value delivery commitments and identify improvement opportunities. - Take an active role in implementing Regional Agreements at site, and act as site Contract Procurement focal point for day-to-day execution of the contract. - Provide insight of the supply market, including drivers of value and cost for principle providers, and how to best respond to market risks and opportunities. - Work with and manage through Contract Procurement organization to analyze demand against local market/supply to recommend appropriate procurement strategies. - Stakeholder Engagement and Interface Management. - Strategic sourcing and vendor development.
