DGM/GM - Finance - Publishing House (8-20 yrs)
We are urgently hiring for the profile of DGM/GM - Finance with a Publishing House in Gurgaon location.
Primary Accountabilities
1. Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators, relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin and provide strategic and direction to the sales, marketing and Editorial teams.
2. Business Planning and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
3. Business performance reporting
4. Preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
5. Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
6. Working and submitting results and budgets/forecasts on the group financial reporting software Hyperion.
7. Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports
8. Works closely with the Sales team to optimize total account management.
9. Managing costs
10. Check customer's credit and approve or deny applications based on company standards and requirements
11. Negotiate payment plans with customers
12. Analyze the effectiveness of the company's credit control system and implement changes to improve profitability and reduce bad debts
13. Ensure customers pay on time and chase any overdue invoices
14. Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments and initiate legal procedures if necessary.
Essentials: Experience in Accounts Receivables & Credit Control.
