Reporting to CEO & CFO

Purpose of the role

The key deliverables of this role would be as follows -

- Providing leadership to the existing finance and accounts function and manage a robust professional finance team.

- Ensure book closure on time and also lead the discussions & engage with Internal Auditor, Statutory Auditor and ensure closure of Audit on time. Review and take ownership of the underlying Financial Statements of the company, lead the statutory audit finalization and handling routine monthly, quarterly and annual compliances.

- Managing the taxation function, both direct and indirect taxation with respect to compliance of timely tax payments, tax deductions return filings and bring up to management any delays or lapses for rectification or action.

- Interface with the Credit Rating Agencies to improve the Company's credit rating.

- Ensure high quality reporting system, to provide on-time, regular and accurate data for both Finance and Operations, to provide more visibility into business performance metrics not just accounting data for review of business performance by the management team. This would also involve instituting a more robust month end closing process & ensuring monthly MIS in the form of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash flow statements.

- Manage fund flows and raise funds - both debt & equity to meet the business plan. Devise ways and means of tracking cash flow and create rolling cash flow forecasts.

Candidate Profile :

a. The incumbent must be a CA/ with min 12 - 15 years' relevant experience. Should have relevant experience in a financial services company and working knowledge of INDAS.

b. Should have a large network in the industry. He should also be able to represent the Organisation with the regulators.

c. Should possess excellent negotiation skills & the ability to work with people across level.

d. Knowledge of legal & taxation would be preferred.

e. High level of integrity is pre-requisite for the position
