DGM/GM - Business Development - Real Estate (12-20 yrs)

JOB SUMMARY : 

- He/She will work to improve the organization's market position and achieve financial growth. He/She will support the project management team with strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals. Should possess extensive knowledge of the current market conditions. 


- He/She would be required to handle client solutions function for Developer Projects within West India region and will be responsible for managing key clients in (Data Centres, Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Warehousing, Hotel, and R&D centres). He/She should have strong networking within the project management industry. It is their responsibility to collaborate with the internal operations team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization. He/She will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Direct sell clients through meetings pitches and identify needs.

- Drives the client relationship and business development activities of the company across the geography

- Cold calls as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.

- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.

- Research and build relationships with new clients.

- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.

- Plan and prepare teams for prospecting and shortlist approaches and pitches.

- Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.

- Participate in pricing the solution/service.

- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

- Oversees the creation of a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for new pursuits (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations)

- Develops strong working relationships with subject matter experts throughout the organization at the functional and account management levels.

- Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers and other subject matter experts involved in an opportunity pursuit.

- Recommends staff recruitment and selection.

- Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company's values.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors/Masters from Civil Engineering background

- MBA in marketing/Sales is preferred.

Experience - 12 + Years in sales/business development profile

Other Skills & Abilities

- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents.

- Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format.

- Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.

- Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Team Player, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the advisory services platform.

- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.

- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, growth rates, discounts, and other fundamental Excel formulas.

- Conduct basic financial analysis. Use of financial tools for analytics and problem solving.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.

- Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
