Position Title Application Lead - Data Platform Services (DGM / GM Designation)

Total Years of Experience : 14-18 years of relevant industry experience

Location : Navi Mumbai

Role - Technical and functional Hadoop specialist

Responsibilities:

Responsible for 24-7 day to day operations of the Application running on Hadoop based Data Platform

- Resolves and Acts as L1/L2 front face during major incidents /escalations

- Escalations/ issues are proactively identified, addressed, and closed with documentation

- Ensure all SLA / KPI metrics are met as per agreed SLA norms

- Will be required to act as an escalation point during out of offices hours / weekends / holidays

- Participate and Ensure IT compliance closure / risk mitigation

- Technically Lead a team of L1/L2 and SME who are working in 24-7 shift environment

Skills :

- General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system's capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks.

- Hands-on experience in working with Big Data platforms like Hadoop (HortonWorks, Cloudera)

- Full knowledge of Hadoop Architecture and HDFS is a must

- Hands on experience in UNIX, SQL, Shell Scripting.

- Knowledge on databases (RDMS, SQL, NoSQL) and should be able connect to databases from Streaming application using Python/Scala.

- Hands on experience in Apache tomcat , web servers , Dropwizard , microservices

- Must have worked in Production support & troubleshooting issues

- Must have experience in Incident , problem and change Management from Application Operation prospective
