Job Description - This is an E-commerce Head (DGM) mandate for a mid sized FMCG Foods company in India
Client Details
Our client is one of the pioneers in healthy snacking in the Indian market and has a portfolio in Foods (pan India operations). They have been growing, both, in offline and online trade and are looking for an E-commerce Head to lead their online operations and P&L.
Description
The incumbent would report into the Sales Head and be responsible to:
- Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in the online marketplaces
- Directing the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies
- Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures
- Ensure strong relationships across marketplaces to drive event participation, organic business growth, customer promotions and analytics
- Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely
- Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy
- Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Examining sales-related metrics to inform restocks
- Reporting on the utility of existing and novel strategies
Profile
The successful candidate should:
1. Have 7+ years of experience in e-commerce sales from an FMCG set up
2. Be an MBA from a college of repute
3. Have an analytical and a entrepreneurial bent of mind
