Urgently hiring DGM/DGM / Addl GM/.GM -Legal for a Manufacturing company in Noida We are looking out for LLB/LLM candidate with 15-20 years of experience. Roles and responsibilities: - Incumbent will be responsible for Contracts, Compliances, Risk, processes and practices around legal aspects - litigation, contracts, legal compliances and risks for entire group. - In addition, the position will also be responsible for legal matters pertaining to Litigations across Corporate Office and Engineering businesses. Job Description: - Responsible for providing Legal advice and opinion to the business teams Focal point in: - Advising and Drafting over Legal communications and correspondences. - Identification of lawyers and advise appointment to GCLO - Supervising & managing Litigations as follows: - For matters in Supreme Court: Assist GCLO & Management with sharp inputs and briefing, documentation and any other assistance that may be required for the successful administration of the matter - Responsible for handling Arbitration matters under advice and guidance from GCLO - Timebound recovery of outstanding across businesses - Aid the respective teams across all businesses in review of contracts - Manage all statutory or legal notices - Assist in administration of labor dispute, environmental issues, any social issues - Custodian of all legal documents - Litigations, Legal Communications, Contracts - Set up procedures and processes, including where various interdepartmental activities are involved - like formats in which inputs over litigations are expected, timelines within which inputs must be supplied - Updating the management with laws and regulations applicable to business operations, disseminating the information to concerned stakeholders, extending necessary clarifications over interpretation, training, concurrent audits, collection of compliance certificates - Develop relationships /cordial terms with legal fraternity and local administration. Experience: - 15-20 yrs (preferably in Manufacturing /Pharma/ Banking industry) or working with Individual lawyers dealing with corporate clients. - Good knowledge of Civil/ / Criminal/Regulatory/ Corporate/ law, Regulatory matter, service matter, Litigations, Settlements, Consumer matters, Licenses, petitions etc. - Should have familiarity with UP CrPC - Should be networked with top Delhi & UP Lawyers, High Court & Supreme Court Lawyers
