DGM - Capex Procurement - Manufacturing Firm (8-16 yrs)
Job Scope : Job Scope includes procurement of capex, MRO, Civil and Mechanical for the manufacturing units spread across India
The Key Job Responsibilities :
- Ensuring Material availability on a daily basis
- Tracking through the availability metrics and improving the same
- Component-wise Detailed Costing Models
- Maintenance and application to negotiate prices
- Monitoring Market Indices relevant to Components of Procurement & apply the same for price controls
- Ensuring Quality of components under rejection with CAPAs & Disciplinary actions on suppliers
- Driving Cost Reduction Projects
- Monitoring Suppliers Capacity to the Demand & Securing appropriate vendors headspace
- Negotiate with vendors offline wherever needed
- Develop new vendors for cost reduction, quality improvement and NPDs
- Team Management, Coaching
