We are currently looking for an DGM / AGM - Regional Manager - Communication &amp; Media Planning for our leading client who is a diversified organisation in India comprising 6 publicly traded companies. It has world class transport and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence. Job Objective To spearhead Communication and Media Planning wing within Chhattisgarh region for various business (also other Business Units) comprising of but not limited to strategizing brand positioning across the state and to ensure overall alignment within the framework of the company's business strategy and oversee all directed corporate communications activities and media relations. Support CSR activities and curate stories around the foundation. Educational Qualification: Essential: MBA or Master's degree in Mass Media Communication with significant focus in media management. Desired: MA / Diploma in Creative Writing Key Responsibilities 1. Advise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to determine communications requirements and provide subject matter expertise in support of developing communications plans and related activities. 2. Responsible for Building strategic, integrated communications programs related to company initiatives, corporate strategy and long-term vision that apply creative tactics across a variety of external and internal communication channels. 3. Collaborate with internal departments - including CEO's Office, Cluster Heads, Site Specific Land Acquisition and Rehabitation &amp; Resettlement Teams, HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Strategy, IT &amp; CBC - to ensure integrated storytelling to get the most from communications efforts. 4. Responsible for Selecting, managing and monitoring performance of PR (public relations) agencies across the network. Liaising with PR agencies, local marketing and management team on local strategy, PR opportunities and media-related activities. Oversee issues management and crisis communications situations, including after-hours media relations as per business requirements. Liaise with State Public Relations Centre PROs, local lobbyists, activists and NGOs to gather information and accordingly devise contingency plans to get pre information on critical developments. 5. Developing and managing an integrated communication plan and calendar of activity to build the mining brand in Chhattisgarh State and strengthen the market position. Increasing share of voice across media and enhance the brand image of the Group. Planning, coordination of media events like press release, press conferences, press meets, seminars, award functions etc
