DESIGN HEAD UI/UX

- Manage high level product design strategy while remaining hands on in design skills

- Oversee a team and gather and synthesize feedback from multiple constituents (users, customers, product managers, sales, engineers) to design new features and interfaces for products

- Oversee the team members' development including team structure, hiring, performance assessment, coaching and feedback, and training

- Your team will iterate on designs and drive product features from concept through final implementation and polish, working with product managers to prioritize and develop time commitments

- Use customer feedback and research findings to recommend and implement updates to the product

- Develop and implement product measurement and success processes.

- Constantly re-evaluate and iterate on product interfaces based on feedback and measured performance bottlenecks

- Present and influence design decisions to various internal stakeholders locally and globally

Qualification And Experience :

1. 10+ years of experience in UI/Product/UX design in a highly technical environment and at least 2 years in a management/leadership role

2. Must possess an enjoyment of analytics and a curiosity for discovering insights from data

3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain using data and customer insights to influence design decisions

4. Knowledge of industry standard tools including Sketch, Axure, Invision, etc. and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

5. Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. You must be comfortable and confident leading discussions at all levels

6. Able to balance customer frictions and needs with business goals, market viability and technical feasibility

7. Able to translate customer insights into concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps and prototypes with Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision, and other tools

8. A portfolio that showcases a sophisticated aesthetic with strengths in design systems, typography, and visual storytelling and high level understanding of user experience

9. Experience managing, and a passion for developing people and growing a collaborative team

10. A high bar for quality and understanding the trade-offs between resource allocation and impact.
