Job Title : Design and Engineering Head for BESS Battery Business

Location : Gurgaon, India

Job Summary :

- Our company is seeking a highly experienced Design and Engineering Head to lead our BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) business in India.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 12-15 years of experience in the field of design and engineering for energy storage systems, with a specific focus on battery technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and lead the design and engineering strategy for the company's BESS battery business in India.

- Lead a team of engineers and designers to develop battery energy storage systems that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and engineering of BESS battery systems.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and develop new product offerings.

- Develop and manage the engineering budget for the BESS battery business, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the BESS battery systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including government agencies, research institutions, and suppliers.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

- 9-15 years of experience in the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems, with a focus on lithium-ion battery technology.

- Experience managing a team of engineers and designers, with the ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve results.

- Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the energy storage industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies is a plus.

- Experience working in the Indian market is preferred.
