ROLE OBJECTIVE:
- Provide comprehensive risk assessment strategy for auto insurance underwriting
- Evangelize responsive underwriting strategies for a fast-moving market and increasing the efficiency of underwriting processes in all lines of business
- Improvement of financial decision-making of underwriting process of motor vehicle insurance
- Address problem areas of the underwriting process
- Responsible for policy decisions and adjustments to take the underwriting factors into account and to alleviate the problem areas
- Setting KPIs/ Benchmarks for reducing operating expenses relative to premiums earned
- Application design to reduce complexity, leading to an increase in customer satisfaction and employee productivity
- Creating more specific and consistent underwriting employee goals
- Responsible for SLA Adherence for Underwriting Decisions, Underwriting Expense Ratio, Percentage of Insurance Applications Approved, etc.
- Stakeholder management, team management, leadership
