Deputy Manager - Sourcing/Procurement - Flexible Packaging (6-8 yrs)
We are looking for a post graduate with 7-8 years of experience in
Sourcing / procurement, supply chain
- Direct negotiation
- ERP system friendly
- Analytical skill
- Report making
- Understanding on flexible packaging
- Good in Microsoft (excel, PPT, Word etc)
- Good command on English language for interaction with overseas suppliers.
Job description :
- Understand the criticality of our product, Identifying new vendors (Import and domestic), Validate them for our kind of industries for on time and safe delivery.
- Negotiate with the Vendors, prepare contract, send monthly performance report and discuss with them for improvement.
- Data entry (Price Panel update) in the system and maintain confidentiality.
- Monthly report generations on Saving, Credit notes, review meeting at Global level.
- Sourcing for RM (Domestic, Import) : Identifying vendors, collaboration with Plant and Technical team for new product development, get initial offer on commercial terms
- Coordinate with Sales team for forecast and Monthly order planning for Import items
- Inventory management for Import items and ensuring no inventory built up and opportunity loss.
- Review of non moving and slow moving RM and coordinate with Sales team, Plant for possible usages.
- Implement new strategy / SOP to improve efficiency of supply chain.
- Handling complaints with suppliers on quality, delivery.
