Deputy Manager - Performance & Attribution Reporting - BFS (4-9 yrs)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Timing: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM (centralized pick up and drop available)

Job Description :

- Take charge of the imminent delivery workflow coming in to IC

- Driving new business initiatives that are a combination of research and delivery specs as known at the moment

- Stakeholder management

- People management is an important aspect of this role. Identification and mapping of individuals reporting to this position will, however, be done at later stage.

- Develop & maintain the performance monitoring reports, excel models and flash sheet which includes structured discussion on performance results of fund managers.

- Develop recommendations to hold/liquidate investment managers basis through research on manager performance, market developments and macro-economic environment

- Provide high-quality research and analysis focused on the macro-economic environment, traditional and alternative asset classes and Investment industry with an ability to explain anomalies and movements

- Be a SPOC for the team for the assigned scope. Scale the expertise in the team anticipating the future workflow and growing sophistication of existing projects

- Undertake research on Fund managers and produce actionable reports

- Draft the suitability letter or s36 letter for client team review based on templates, including the below activities

- Linking the client's strategy to the investment characteristics

- Reviewing the documentation and materials from investment managers on their investment processes and products, and integrate information from research reports

- Identify investment and operational risks using checklists

- Support the Manager Search and Selection process by reviewing research on investment managers and investment processes and preparing background information for clients engaging in a manager selection exercise

- Prepare Custom research reports using client-specific fee information provided by investment managers

- Review client circumstances and strategy to identify required notes and disclosures (based off template wording adjusted for client circumstances) relating to investment matters to be included in annual trustee report and accounts

- Prepare valuation reports basis the cash flow information for the client's investment portfolio

- Contribute to other investment consulting support activities as assigned

- Deliver to agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and work within the set policies and guidelines

- Where appropriate, propose updates and improvements to current processes

- Contribute to other group projects as assigned

- Contribute and participate in knowledge development initiatives

- Coaching and guidance to the junior and new team members

- Attend queries, concerns, suggestions from stakeholders
