Deputy Manager - MIS - Insurance

Job Purpose:

- To ensure the efficient extraction, preparation, and reporting of data from various systems (SAP BusinessObjects, MS Excel, SQL, MS Access) to meet regulatory requirements and internal business needs.

- The Deputy Manager is responsible for connecting with both internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies to understand data and reporting requirements, building reports, managing data sets, and overseeing data accuracy.

- The role also involves managing system issues, conducting UAT testing, and handling different GI products like motor and health insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Connect with GI Regulatory to understand Regulatory Reporting & Data requirements.

- Connect with internal stakeholders to understand Organization Reporting & Data requirements.

- Extract and Prepare Datasets with Technical and Business Users. (SAP BusinessObjects + MS Excel + SQL + MS Access + SAP)

- Update MIS and Datasets on a regular basis. (MS Excel + SQL + MS Access)

- Integrate Datasets to prepare required data models for various reporting. (SAP BusinessObjects + MS Excel + SQL + MS Access)

- Built reports as per Regulatory and Internal business needs. (SAP BusinessObjects)

- Handle different GI products like retail (Motor, Health) and Commercial business.

- Handle UAT testing.

- Manage system & data issues with the technical team.

Technical Skills: MS Excel, database such as SQL, SAP S4, HANA, MS Access (Exposure to SAP is preferred)

Functional Skills: MIS, Reporting, Insurance Regulatory (IRDA, IIB, GIC), Financial and Accounts (Exposure to GI and Finance is preferred)

Education Qualification: Graduate or above in Engineering from a known university.
