We are recruiting for reputed MNC (auto sector) Job Summary : - Should have at least 10 Years' experience in procurement of all materials preferably in Automotive components / safety parts. - Should have an exposure of bulk imports and accordingly should have good knowledge of global markets like Asia including China, Europe etc. - Should have an experience of Inventory / Procurement planning enabling to meet the targets in collaboration with the marketing and technical teams. - Strengthening existing vendor source &amp; developing alternate/back up suppliers - Work with operations and sales to determine supply/demand needs for transportation logistics for both current and future opportunities - Knowledge on Imports, licensing and Danger goods handling Strategic Context and Challenges : - Handling procurement planning Local / Import and Knowledge on INCO terms. - Knowledge on Lean concept, (leveling, Kanban, JIT). - Forecasting analysis of Business plan, able to initiate Lean (JIT, Kanban) and Inventory control for Raw Materials. Deliverables - Ensure On time delivery (VDP - Vendor delivery performance) : - Ensure supply VMI (Vendor management Inventory) - Premium freight In reduction - Ram material Inventory control by value and ITR(Inventory Turnaround) - Zero line stoppage due to material shortage - Procurement of Local and Imports - Daily Milk run of Local components - Procurement by Kanban - RM coverage and control - Premium freight control for Inbound - MRP - planning in ERP(QAD) - Premium freight control and Outbound logistics cost controlling - Management of returnable Bins with supplier - Shortage analysis for production - co-ordination with overseas vendor and CFA / customs clearance - Inventory policy and strategies - Budgeting for Inventory / Freight Core Responsibilities and Activities : - Responsible for handling complete activities of domestic and international procurement. - Ensuring timely availability of parts from supplier. - Awareness / Analysis on Automobile market. - Needs to have good interaction with Customers (Internal / External). - Needs to be a effective team player across CFT's. - Proactive Approach on predicting the Schedule variations and communicate the same to appropriate teams well in advance. - Engaging customer order planner and marketing for schedule variations. - Running MRP reports for all product lines - People management and System adherence: TS 16949/14001 - Responsible for meeting cost targets for Logistics &amp; Packaging. - Responsible for procurement of CAPEX. - Maximize procurement leverage in the regional market place to obtain the most favorable terms and conditions of purchase - Direct the team to monitor plant inventory levels against the targets for raw materials and components, work in process and finished goods following company procedures, plant and corporate goals. - Guide the department to develop and maintain information services in the areas of new items and services,, equipment design and changes, new materials and methods. - Identify risks that can impact supplier delivery and guide the department to develop mitigation plans based on risk and vulnerability analyses on spend areas. - Drive cost savings through effective negotiations with materials and logistics service providers. - Ensure adherence to department budgets Other Responsibilities : - Able to lead the team and achieve the customer target with CFT support. - Maintaining Optimum Inventory - Controlling logistic Cost. - Ensuring timely availability of parts from supplier for AIB India production. - Awareness / Analysis on Automobile market. - Needs to have good interaction with Customers (Internal / External). - Needs to be an effective team player across CFT's. - Proactive Approach on predicting the Schedule variations and communicate the same to appropriate teams well in advance. - Follow-up with Vendors - Engaging customer order planner and marketing for schedule variations. - Running MRP reports for all product lines - Communication Schedules to the suppliers - Managing the daily supplies/Kan-ban from suppliers - Interact with customers, suppliers, company internal- company overseas - People management and System adherence: TS 16949/14001 - Responsible for meeting cost targets for Logistics &amp; Packaging.
