Purpose to hire this role:

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Analysing, investigating and preparing presentations for senior management on key movements and trends in the financial statements compared to previous years and budget for 90+ offices and recommend action plans in line with the analysis

- Perform analysis with transactional data from the company and industry to generate insights on profitability by Region, Office, Trade lanes, and Customers

- Working with Financial controllers worldwide to prepare and review annual financial plans

- Assessment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement areas

- Champion continuous business process improvement initiatives in the planning process

- Designing and implementing BI dashboards with the help of Vendors/IT Team to review company's performance for operational & financial dimensions. Directing the automation of these dashboards to reduce time to insight & increase accuracy of reporting process

- To liaison with various internal stakeholders for accurate and timely reporting

- Any other analysis as requested by senior management on time to time basis

- Review of P&L and status check on key strategic programs across businesses

- Analyse available data, MIS and all available information pertaining to businesses or functions.

- Preparation of dashboard summarizing key business drivers specific to different verticals.

- Generation of various reports/presentations for senior management to take informed decisions

- Work with finance team to facilitate auto report generation across verticals

Business Analytics

- Analysis of business data including financial, sales and operational

- Running programs, maintaining dashboards or populating information in prescribed formats

- Running scenario modelling tools and analytics tool as required to derive conclusions

- Benchmarking productivity against the best industry practices

Monitoring Key Matrices

- Dashboard Creation and management

- Monitoring ROI for investments made

- Monitoring ROCE for the company - business wise

- Monitoring financial health of the company - debt, liquidity, etc. across offices

Desired Candidates Profile:

- Should be CA with 5-10 years of experience

- Should have an aptitude for business and financial acumen

- Good in drafting business communication and MIS, Analysis

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible, smart with strong analytical and presentation skills

- Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
