Deputy Manager - Internal Audit - Manufacturing

1. Assisting completion of Whirlpool Sarbanes Oxley 404 obligations, performing process write up, walkthroughs, testing and remediation testing

2. Participate in formulation of the audit plans.

3. Assist/prepare audit planning memorandum and prepare/tailor audit programs. The audit program will include the assessment of internal control design, operating effectiveness and overall control environment effectiveness.

4. Perform fieldwork in accordance with the approved audit program. This will generally include identification and testing of internal controls, analytical review, and substantive testing. Adhere to audit schedules.

5. Prepare concise & effective written reports, identify deficiencies and make practical recommendations for corrective action.

6. Participating in assigned process studies, identifying process improvement suggestions and preparation of standard operating procedures

7. Discuss control improvements, risks and suggestions with superiors and management. Interface with the business for rigorous follow up for implementation of the recommendation and providing support for the same.

8. Demonstrating awareness of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors

9. Demonstrating the ability to research issues, trends, etc. via external sources

10. Contribute to periodic Audit Committee reporting process

11. Contribute to the Data analytics program of the function And most important - be a change agent!
