KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

- Optimisation of Input Tax credit under GST regime to take maximum benefits.

- Ensuring statutory compliance in the field of GST including returns (GSTR-1/GSTR-2/GSTR-3 (whenever applicable) /3B/GSTR-6/Waybills reconciliation/ Payments as per due dates.

- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of GL's with sales register & purchase registers and getting the relevant entries passed. Creating SOP's for the compliance process

- Ensuring Gl's reconciled with ITC registers at GST website for PAN India

- Monthly scrutiny of GL's to ensure that correct ITC is availed as per GST Act & ensuring payment of GST correctly & completely under reverse charge

- Study & implement the processes for various cost saving opportunities.

- Ensuring GST Audit /Annual returns for Pan India

- Assistance in completion of VAT Assessments of various States.

- Check, rectify & improvements of various reports in SAP system.

- Involvement in various new projects related to software & system improvement.

- Filing of reply to the SCN and assistance in preparation & filing of VAT appeals at various appellate authority, and pursue pending appeal cases at various appellate authority.

- Arrangement of regular sessions on various tax-related GST / VAT issues for internal team.

- Knowledge of earlier Indirect Tax regime (Service Tax, Excise & Custom) will be an added advantage.

- Liasioning with GST/ VAT consultant across states

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Qualification & Experience: C.A / C.W.A (with 2-3 years Exp.) or MBA (with 4-5 years of exp).
