Deputy Manager/Head - Forex Accountant - Consulting Firm

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

System Knowledge: SAP and MS Office - Excel, Word & Power Point

Role requirement: Must be broadly aware of how Foreign exchange markets function

Forex accounting and IND AS.

(1) Manage all the internal and external compliances pre and post-deal with the banks

(2) Ensure the company is deal ready at all times with existing and new counterparties by fulfilling onboarding requirements, KYC re-fresh, providing various certifications etc

(3) coordinate with internal auditors and external auditors for solving their queries wrt agreement to RBI guidelines as well as internal policies

(4) Accounting wrt treasury transactions and Hedge accounting documentation

(5) Preparation & Review of various MIS reports & presentations

(6) maintain a good working rapport with mid/back office staff of all the counterparty banks & other business units

(7) ensure all regulatory, taxation, and internal norms are followed while actual cash settlements are done once deals are squared off

(8) ensure all settlements with counterparties happen in a time-bound manner and follow up and rectify deviations if any

(9) Implementation of - treasury software additional automation to reduce manual intervention, reflect correct exposure and Financial risks

(10) Ensuring Compliance documents are made for quarterly regulatory /annual /LEI reporting by mid-office.

(11) Conducting meetings with statutory auditors, and internal auditors as required for answering queries

(12) Sound control on each and every fresh deal confirmation for its correctness, updating the deals hedged as well as settled. Checking each and every settlement advice for correctness of amount to be settled

(13) Good skill set in terms of documentary housekeeping activities either in hard /digital format for all transactions concluded. Ensure existing IT platforms work efficiently and if need be troubleshoot and rectify issues with existing IT service provider
