Deputy Manager - FMR (RTR)


Job Summary:


The Deputy Manager- FMR (RTR) is responsible for a collection of processes between recording financial transactions and the publication of financial reports. The candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant or an accounting postgraduate from Finance related streams.


S/he is responsible of providing both strategic, financial and operational feedback on business performance as well as financial statements that are compliant with local accounting standards. Responsibilities include posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statements, supporting month end closing, preparing various reports as required and supporting audits.

Job Description:

1. Manage all finance and accounting operations including billing, AP, AR, Treasury, Inventory Accounting and RTR - month/ year end process

2. Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly recorded and reported

3. Review the monthly financial statements. Perform the analysis of actual & forecast. Explain the trends and movements to FC

4. Finalize and submit monthly financial statements, reports with corporate timelines

5. Coordinate and support the preparation of budget, financial forecasts

6. Ensure the timely preparation of management & statutory reports

7. Support finance controller duties as necessary

8. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

9. Handle internal & statutory audit

10. Lead & execute transformation projects

Profile Description:

1. CA / CWA

2. 4+ years of experience in financial accounting & reporting

3. Knowledge in general ledger functions and month end/ year end closure process. Should have relevant experience in shared services/ industry

4. Good understanding of IFRS

5. Analytical skills with high attention to detail

6. Experience in SAP

7. Proficient in MS office

8. Self-driven. Ability to operate with minimum supervision. Willing to work as an individual contributor

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as role requires interaction with various functions and stake holders
