Deputy Manager - Direct Taxation - Chemical

Must Haves:

- Strong domain knowledge - Direct Tax and basic knowledge of Indirect Tax( GST )

- Orientation towards controls and control systems, with - Enabling- mindset- (approachability)

- SAP exposure as an ERP user/project person, especially FICO

- Commercial savviness - understanding of how accounting decisions impact business in Top-line / bottom-line terms

- Ability to understand the macro/industry implications - relevant for Governance role

- Business Finance acumen- ability to partner business

- Team Player

- Good Communication

Competencies - Wants- :

- Current Hands on experience on SAP R3 FICO Module

- Good Understanding of / Exposure to Expert Finance areas- accounting, taxation, MIS etc, for future deployability

- Communication/networking skills- relevant for influencing

Job Responsibilities:

- Preparing the details for scrutiny assessments and representing before assessing authorities

- Responsible for Tax audit and Income Tax returns preparation.

- Preparation of details for Transfer Pricing Audit.

- Advise on withholding tax applicability on resident and international payments

- Deduct and pay proper TDS on time and ensure to file TDS returns

- Calculations for advance tax payments

- Attend to notices, scrutiny, appeals etc.

- Interact with consultants/advocates for advice, representation etc.

- Keep abreast with latest developments in Taxation and update the management about the same.
