Person Specifications
Education
Essential: Graduation in English Literature/Language/Journalism/Mass Comm
Desirable: Masters in English Literature/Language/Journalism/Mass Comm
Experience
Essential: At least 5-8 years in Communications roles (Corporate Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Copywriting, PR, Social Media etc). Preferable experience in multinational/global organisations.
Knowledge
Essential:
- Strong written and oral English skills and a relevant understanding of the current web and social media landscape, in order to build focused content, especially digital.
- An understanding of the modern web-audience readership/consumer psychology and of basic visual design appreciation.
- Strong understanding of events and related vendor management, including floor branding, management of delivery calendars and basic budgeting.
Desirable:
- HTML/CSS/CMS tools
- MS Office applications
- Adobe Creative suite/Photoshop
