Deputy Lead - Corporate Comminication - BFS (10-15 yrs)
1. JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a senior level professional in the field of corporate communication who will work with the business and corporate functions to plan and execute communication themes for varied media, encompassing all traditional, social and emerging media platforms. As the Corporate Communication Deputy Lead, you will provide proactive, practical and strategic counsel on communications to the management and be responsible for creation and implementation of media activities and communication plans, both external and internal.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Corporate Communication
- Formulate high quality and strategic communications plans, ensuring appropriate content, tone, brevity and consistency.
- Develop content drafts for the media, for briefings and engagements by the management.
- Proactively identify situations that have the potential to bring the organization to disrepute.
- Monitor the external environment and take responsibility for assessing risk to reputation
- Proactively engage with the media to initiate and maintain strong relationships
- Systematically monitor and interpret coverage on broadcast, print and social media
- Develop and manage high level communications and engagement programmes to enhance and demonstrate the brand as a good corporate citizen.
