Job Description :

Leadership role in the engineering department seeking excellence in all engineering disciplines inclusive of Pre-bid engineering, Detailed engineering of Primary & secondary designs for EHV & UHV substations & Transmission lines, Railways and large MW solar projects.

Client Details :

Our client is a leading MNC in the automotive and industrial manufacturing space. They are looking to hire a DGM - Project Engineering based out of Hyderabad.

Description :

Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for:

- Seeking excellence in all engineering disciplines inclusive of Pre-bid engineering, Detailed engineering of Primary & secondary designs for EHV & UHV substations & Transmission lines, Railways and large MW solar projects
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams as well as the management and execution of site development projects against delivery commitments and project plans
- Participating in contract review meetings with customers at pre-tendering stage.
- Reviewing of tender documents and understanding customer requirements at pre-tendering stage
- Preparing pre- bid technical documentation and tender BOM for EHV substations, EHV transmission lines, distribution, Railways projects and Solar Power projects.
- Conducting the pre-tendering site survey to understand site conditions
- Designing SLDs, Electrical layouts, earth mat layouts, Illumination layouts, DSLP layouts, Bus bar designs, short circuit calculations and cable & termination scheduling for substations
- Ensuring the high standards in seamless coordination with execution teams, suppliers and internal departments for smooth execution of projects.
- Conceptualising and detailed design preparation for Power infrastructure for the industries.
- Identifying correct schemes for various T&D, Solar& Industrial projects

Profile :

Ideally you are an Engineer with 14+ years of experience with strong knowledge of the solar industry. Knowledge of railway or T&D industry would be an added advantage. You would be supporting the business development team hence should excel in all engineering disciplines inclusive of Pre-bid engineering, Detailed engineering of primary & secondary designs for EHV & UHV substations & Transmission lines, Railways and large MW solar projects. You possess clear concise communication and presentation skills and have been in a managerial position for last 5 years.
