RESPONSIBILITY-

a) New product Genset design (Canopy, Silencer, Fuel Tank, Base frame etc)

b) Sheet metal parts design & understanding of Manfacturing process

c) Understanding customer requirement & converting Voice of customer into technical specification for product

d) Exposure to Genset testing (Noise, Vibration, Cooling System, etc.)

e) Diesel/Gas Engine Integration

f) Long Term product & technology roadmap

g) Representing team for ISO/Internal Audit

h) ARAI Certification, Type Approval

1. Canopy design with integration of Engine ,Alternator, Control panel.

2. Proto building & validation.

3. Drawing preparation and release for development.

4. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

5. Drawing approval

6. Benchmarking with world class products

7. Inhouse & field Validation of new product

8. New Product DFMEA/DFS/DFA

9. Follow Powerol NPD process

10. APPAP closure & ER release

11. Value engineering projects

12. Field Quality improvements

13. Knowledge of National/Internation standards related to Genset

14. Implementing VA/VE initiatives to achieve standardization and reduce costs.

Capturing field performance feedback & successful start of volume production)
