A leading Retail client of ours is recruiting for the role of DGM-Procurement and Supply Chain. MBAs -ONLY from 2011 and 2012 batch are requested to apply. KRAs are as follows: - Formulation of category strategies - Product portfolio management - Track &amp; Analyze consumption trends .Track local and global raw material trends and devise risk mitigation strategies - Evaluate &amp; Select vendors for managing the purchase of allotted categories. - Collaborate with QA team in identifying and shortlisting vendors - Design policies, protocols - Guide suppliers to identify and implement appropriate quality systems and processes Monitor vendor performance - Liaise with global suppliers and harness synergies &amp; economies of scale - Devise and implement strategies for operational excellence and ensuring profitability - The role will focus on procurement of raw materials and intermediate products, rather than packing materials etc. Experience in procurement of raw materials for Food Segment would be an ideal fit.
