Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

- Provides process design and technical support network of commercial teams in the emerging market utilizing process design tools enabling them to successfully apply and promote Filtration & Clarification products/processes.

- Supports in complete design of Water Treatment Plants encompassing pre-oxidation, flocculation & clarification and rapid gravity sand filtration with mono and dual media beds including but not limited to GAC and PAC applications.

- Supports in design of tertiary wastewater Treatment solution encompassing rapid gravity sand filtration with mono and dual media beds including but not limited to disc filtration technology.

- Supports selling teams with Water Chemistry and Hydraulics solutions during selling activity direct with customers.

- Develops operational descriptions (OD), design calculations, and other process training documents to support post sales efforts.

- Supports control engineers/technicians in transitioning from process designs to operational control philosophies (e.g. functional design specifications).

- Determines competitive filtration and clarification technology solutions through evaluation of competitive product offers

- Develops pilot testing protocols and executes pilot testing plan as needed.

- Interfaces with customers as necessary to provide filtration, clarification and biological treatment process problem solving and troubleshooting advice and to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.

- Provides field and phone support for operator process training as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Supports and bridges the process gap between design tenders (Sales) and contract fulfillment (Engineering) by facilitating a smooth transition through the free flow of information and accurate application of company and industry process standards.

- Supports commercial teams with technical presentations to prospective customers and professional consultants.

- Fosters a team approach and provide mentoring to appropriate operations staff.

- Author technical papers for presentation at regional and national conferences."
