- Involvement in making strategic decisions impacting the organization - Focus on mitigating legal risks;

- Help stream line legal processes within the organization to ensure key issues/legal matters are being monitored and carefully scrutinized.

- Making strategic decisions keeping in mind the interests of the organization.

- Managing legal risks effectively to maximize commercial opportunities.

- Work on key corporate commercial transactions - Draft, Negotiate, highlight risks, strategize to mitigate risks, take positions on behalf of the organization, identifying key legal issues and ensuring that the concerns of the business team and external counsels are streamlined to achieve the desired results.

- Ability to lead the transactions alone, handle complex legal/ business issues and work effectively with a range of stakeholders including business leaders and shareholders.

- Move towards ensuring continuous process improvement - Achieve a high level of operational efficiency by continuous improvement of organization and department work methods, ensuring incorporation of best practices/ creating awareness and development of functional centers of excellence.

- Ability to work under pressure consistently and meet demanding deadline.

- Derive economic value and savings for the organization by bringing in subject matter expertise and skill sets.

- Integrating the legal advice with the business requirement - Augment legal advice/ opinion for cross functional and cross jurisdictional transactions for derive value for business.

- Work on diverse transactions ranging from merger and acquisition, treasury related transactions, managing litigation and handling IPR assets of the organization across the global business.

- Standardize process and procedure in line with business requirements, achieve efficiency and ensure seamless delivery of legal advice/ opinion and value addition across global business for various functions.

- Creating single point of collaboration between corporate office and various group companies for optimizing the value of corporate legal team.
