Job Title : DGM - IT - Retail Tech Location : Noida Reporting to VP IT Job Purpose : Leading the overall development of Retail Tech in restaurants Key Accountabilities : - Responsible for managing the roadmap for POS - Identifying opportunities for automation of tasks to save time of restaurant employees - Handling all projects related to other retail technology projects where integration is required with POS - Design the processes to ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures Mentoring and providing training Retail Tech team members COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS : - Self-motivated individual with a go-getter attitude - Highly skilled and highly professional, one who is able to manage self-imposed deadlines / responsibilities - Effective collaboration with other stakeholders such as IT Infrastructure, Security and vendors etc. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS : - Qualification - B. Tech. (Computer Science/ IT) / MCA - Relevant experience of minimum 15 plus years in IT in Retail Technologies/Distributed Systems - Strong experience in Microsoft Technologies - Strong Hands-On experience in POS design, development and maintenance of Master Data is must - Strong Knowledge of VB6 and C#/SQL/.NET is must - Experience in SSRS/SSIS/SSAS will be big plus - Hands-On experience in troubleshooting, isolation of Root cause in live environment is must - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills - Strong knowledge of integration with multiple systems and tracking uptime and usage of interfaces and - Hands-on experience on working on Database like My SQLServer, SQL Server, etc. - Experience in managing a distributed environment managing hundreds of end points for transactions and updates - Experience in managing a team of technical Developers and Analysts for bug fixing, technical design documents and business requirement documentation - Excellent reporting skills to guide preparation and review of regular MIS for Retail KPIs - Experience in reviewing problem management reports to design solutions for resolving recurring problems - Excellent, problem solving, project prioritization, and time management skills
