Deputy General Manager - Human Resource - FMCG/Manufacturing (15-20 yrs)

- Drive the recruitment process at the plant level; Ensure timely recruitment of staff & workers with required skill sets as per approved manpower plan within reasonable costs

- Ensure induction, assimilation & completion of joining formalities for all new recruits (AM and below level)

- Work with the Senior Leadership team to drive the career management and employee development philosophy of the organization

- Drive performance management process for plant and ensure efficient implementation

- Lead training needs identification for all plant employees and coordinates with corporate HR for the development of training programs

- Review and monitor the development of Training Budget & Calendar for all departments based on the needs identified and ensure adherence to the same

- Engage with HoDs to encourage participation in training programs towards building employee capability

- Review the effectiveness of training programs conducted through conducting reaction level feedback from participants, job knowledge level & business application level feedback from immediate supervisors of employees trained in training programs. Suggest modifications in programs based on feedback received

- Institutionalize mechanisms for internal faculty development for training programs and build a knowledge sharing culture by conducting internal training programs and on the job pieces of training for all employees

- Monitor timely and accurate payroll management for all plant employees

- Implement and monitor suitable processes of the exit interview, relieving and settlement procedures; Coordinate with payroll and other departments to ensure the smooth process

- Provide Department Budget estimations & provide inputs on inventory carrying a cost to enable budget preparation and finalization and ensure adherence to the same

- Undertake employee engagement activities to keep workforce motivated at all levels across departments Optimize costs through process improvements, develop alternative sources of vendors, negotiate costs for best deals and reduction of costs

- Ensure compliance with statutory provisions with respect to people practices and processes

- Ensure compliance to all labor-related statutes in coordination with the Legal Team

- Drive performance orientation through regular monitoring, review of performance parameters and providing feedback to team members
