Job Description :

Position : Senior Manager / DGM - Human Resources

Role : Plant HR &IR Head for AUTO manufacturing plant

Location : INDORE

Academic Qualifications : Masters in Business Administration / Masters in Personnel Management

Experience : 15 years

Reporting to : Vice President - HR

Team Size (Which will report to this position) : 4/5 direct reports

Job Role :


1. Translating the organization strategy and goals into an HR strategy and providing leadership for HR management for the Business Vertical.

2. Meeting Recruitment targets while working with the Talent acquisition team

3. Responsible for working closely with Business/ Functional Heads to develop and manage a recruitment plan in line with the business plan.

4. Well versed with statutory compliances, IR & HR processes. Ability to introduce & institutionalize HR procedures / processes.

5. Knowledge of working in unionized/non-unionized environment.

6. Driving people development initiatives for the business vertical

7. Driving and ensuring an objective performance appraisal system, Competency assessments and goal setting for employees.

8. Driving capability building initiatives, trainings, OJT's etc.

9. Providing Leadership & Building a strong HR Team

10. Liasoning with Local & State level government & statutory bodies and Industry Forums.

11. Contract Labour Management & legal compliances.

12. Entire gamut for HR, Admin & IR activities for the business vertical.
