Job Description - Marketing Head

Area : Marketing

Designation : Head - Marketing

Cadre : Chief Manager / DGM

Position Objective : The position involves leading all our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects. This would also include developing plans to help establish our brand, allocation of resources to different projects and setting
long term and short term marketing goals.

Key Competencies &Requirements :

- MBA / Masters in Marketing

- 10+ years of prior experience in the field of Marketing.

- Hands-on experience in prolific marketing campaigns.

- Outstanding knowledge of web analytics and Google Ads.

- Outstanding ability to plan and manage budgets.

- Excellent leadership and project management skills.

- Strong analytical skills.

Major Responsibilities :

1. Craft strategies for the Marketing team including Digital, Advertising, In-store Communications and Creatives, Loyalty & Space on hire.

2. Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department.

3. Build marketing plans for the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.

4. Prepare social media marketing campaigns and strategize them such that they align with the business objectives.

5. Create and monitor advertisements on various platform keeping the business vision aligned. Monitor the team goals and their execution keenly.

6. Ensure that the website, promotional material and marketing campaign strategies are updated on a regular basis.

7. Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

8. Research about the latest marketing strategies and excel in marketing endeavors competitively.

9. Set, monitor and report on team goals.

10. Design branding, positioning and pricing strategies.

11. Ensure Brand is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing.

12. Efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material).

13. Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas.

14. Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).

15. Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
