Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Transaction Management - Real Estate (8-15 yrs)

Account Lead - Job Description:

The Transaction Management (TM) role will be responsible for taking ownership of key contractual deliverables and maintaining a strong relationship with the client in managing their real estate portfolio across India. The role will be based out of the client's office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ;

The Resource will be part of the core Transaction Management (TM) team for the account and will drive holistic engagement acting as the main point of contact for the client.

- Responsible primarily for the delivery of the transaction management services on the account along with ensuring the overall contractual obligations are being met. For e.g., Strategy formulation, Lease Administration and Estate Management etc.

- Ensure clear engagement of relevant stakeholders at all stages with regard to the expected scope of work, engagement terms, water tight documentation etc. thus ensuring a smooth engagement cycle

- Lead assignments of varied nature that may involve lease renewal, relocation, consolidation, disposition, etc. and ensure successful closeout

- Familiar with strategy formulation, business case studies, drafting short and long-term plans, portfolio optimization, financial modelling etc.

- Drive and conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings / calls to jointly review progress and stay on course of high quality service delivery

- Develop healthy relationship with all client divisions; involving but not limited to Business leadership, CRE, Legal, Finance, Project and Facilities Management, Audit, Admin etc.

- Conduct portfolio analysis (critical dates review), benchmarking exercises and qualitative & quantitative studies as part of the quarterly/half yearly touchdowns with client

- Work closely with all client divisions involving offices and client's corporate real estate, legal, administration, project management, finance/accounting and audit teams etc. while closing out transactions

- Ensure team's adherence to all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) intrinsic to the client, apply transaction playbook to all assignments and ensure close out of all deliverables

KEY SKILLS :

- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and implement a solution-driven approach that is proactive in nature and exceeds client expectations

- Solution driven approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Work as an extension of the client's team and protect their interest in front of landlords, external vendors

- Capability to analyze and interpret scenarios, complex documents, real estate specific tasks

- Good communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, granular attention to detail

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
 
- Post Graduates, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

- Prior experience in Transaction and Account management roles

- 8-10 years in the Real Estate Transactions industry
