Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Sustainability Assurance - Registered & Accredited Auditor Only

 Qualification: Degree in Engineering and Registered/Accredited Auditor (at least in three of the schemes - ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000, ISO 50001, Energy Auditor, ISO22000, Food Safety etc ).

Experience: 13 - 18 years experience out of which 10 years should be in a Multinational company and should have preferably led sustainability assurance function for a company or should have been a department head or performed in a senior role. 

- Experience in manufacturing as well as corporate role would be preferred. 

- Minimum 5 years experience in developing/ assessing Sustainability reports/ data.

 Skills required: 

- Technical expertise in health, safety, environment (including biodiversity, climate change), social (including human rights and relocation), supply chain, management standards and systems. Knowledge of national and local regulation / legislation regarding environmental management. 

- Well conversant in EHS issues including Energy management and Climate change and international standards and protocols. Internal/External Auditing and Training experience would be added advantage

Job Role :

- To assess the level of development of sustainability management systems designed by each businesses to meet the Group standards, policies and management expectationwhich in turn will lead to meeting international standards.

- To assess in detail the level of implementation of the above written management systems.

- To assess the level of legal compliance followed by each Business and Units.

- To communicate with the Businesses and the site management on the progress of implementation of the ABG Sustainability Framework at each business and site including specific recommendations for improvement.
