Deputy General Manager - Finance (10-14 yrs)
Job Objective :
- To ensure efficient funding and investments for the growth of company.
- Drive financial planning & analysis, budgeting & costing and MIS functions in the organization in accordance with statutory requirements, corporate policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities :
Strategic :
- Review and implement the Business Plans of company (long term and short term). Constantly track and monitor their progress and highlight deviations
- Finalize critical financial funding decisions such as fixing and review of the Debt Equity ratio in collaboration with the CFO
- Optimize funding activities for COMPANY to yield risk free maximum returns
- Develop and implement policies on the banking mix for project level and corporate level fund requirements
- Develop a framework for the assessment of various funding options/channels for COMPANY
- Assist the CFO in development of guidelines for investment of COMPANY funds in line with financial risk management guidelines
Operational & Financial :
- Lead the preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, monthly analysis and quarterly operating reviews, through timely and accurate MIS
- Ensure effective control of bank balances of the organization to permit adequate working capital for day-to-day operations and effective management of surplus funds
- Manage the investment portfolio of the organization to ensure maximum return on investment in line with defined investment guidelines
- Review the financials across all operating locations and finalize analysis; provide early warning signals and assist the CFO in development of appropriate mitigation mechanisms
- Serve as the principal advisor to Business Heads and Function Heads on the budgeting and forecasting process; communicate and implement norms for budgeting and capex management
- Manage the relationship with banks and financial institutions to ensure cost effective and preferential services for COMPANY
- Review credit rating periodically and develop mechanisms to ensure achievement of target credit rating
- Finalize templates for project costing and liaise with department heads to periodically review effort-cost associations; communicate rationale for project costing to concerned Heads of Departments

Desired qualifications : CA / MBA Finance
Desired experience 10+ years of experience in Corporate Finance function

- Understanding of financial management, planning and budgeting
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Working knowledge of specialized IT tools for analysis, reporting and presentation
