Deputy General Manager - Factory Operation - FMCG

Leading FMCG is looking for is looking for DGM - Factory Operation for their plant at Jaipur - Rajasthan to Manage the overall operations of the factory to ensure delivery & despatch finished goods as per sales & marketing requirements,

Position: DGM Factory Operation

Work Location: Jaipur - Rajasthan

Qualification: B. Tech/B.E/M.Sc.(Food Tech / Chem. / Applied Sciences)

Experience: 12+ years end to end experience in Large-scale Food processing industry preferably in Extruded Food industry / Bakery industry / Brewing industry

Key Deliverables

- Manage the overall operations of the factory to ensure delivery & despatch finished goods as per sales & marketing requirements, by adhering to quality (ISO 22000 FSMS, Halal, country-specific standards, etc.,) and safety standards

- Establish & maintain manufacturing processes/systems and ensure effective implementation of the same in line with TPM principles

- Work closely with SCM to manage RM sourcing, inventory & FG inventory, logistics, etc.,

- Work closely with R&D teams to ensure Right First Time tech transfer for new products

- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to meet quality standards and resolve customer complaints

- Work closely with finance team to ensure budgeting and controlling of operational costs and product COGS and thereby achieve division profitability

- Drive capacity planning for manufacturing operations in line with business plans

- Supervise timely implementation of new projects such as renovation, capacity enhancement, refurbishment, automation of the production equipment's etc.

- Continuously develop and retain talent in order to ensure high motivation & efficiency of teams

- Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure site compliance and reporting to corporate compliance

Desired Candidate

- Should have strong end to end experience in Large scale Food processing industry preferably in Extruded Food industry / Bakery industry / Brewing industry.

- Should have proven hands on technical expertise in Food processing with handling of highly automated PLC machinery.

- Should have expertise in handling large cross cultural teams with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Should be proficient in undertaking process enhancement, process modifications and equipment up keeping to enhance operational efficiency

- Should have good experience in implementation and adhering of TPM / Lean Manufacturing / ISO 22000 Systems.

- Should have the attitude of learning, updating to the latest technology and adapt to industry best practices that enable him to grow and the business.
