Deputy General Manager - Electrical & Instrumentation

Job Description :

- Responsible for the maintenance of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment and maximizing their availability within the budgeted cost to meet Company's yearly production plan.

- The incumbent is also accountable for all statutory requirements concerning to Legal Metrology dept. for Weighing equipment & liaison with Electrical Inspector for Electrical installations.

- He should Coordinate with APSEB. The incumbent is also responsible to handle entire instrumentation department. Also responsible for required modifications for capacity enhancement / Safety ; Up-gradation for Technology Management.

- Accountable for maximizing the availability of plant for operations through preventive maintenance / condition base monitoring of all Electrical and Instrumentation equipment's with in the planned time.

- Ensure safe work practices are followed while working on Electrical / Instrumentation installations on day-to-day activities to protect both men and assets.

- Planning, CEP's submission as per Capex Plans for Electrical, Instrumentation Section

- Implantation of all approved capex for Electrical & Instrumentation as per budget within time lIne

- Ensure proper and continued implementation of QMS/PSMS/EMS/OSHAS through its compliance in the department.

- Ensure participation & continues involvement of Electrical, Instrumentation staff in TQM activities of Vizag unit.

- Train and educate all personnel in the department by observing the job done and giving feedback for continual improvement.

- Incumbent is to carry out proper analysis (RCA & why-why analysis) and take corrective action through continuous monitoring of parameters / data and giving guidance to subordinates.

Candidate :

- B. Tech - Instrumentation / Electrical. 15 years experience in process industry.

- Knowledge on Instrumentation equipment, DCS, PLC, Knowledge on SAP, Procurement, Knowledge on contracts, Maintenance, MIS Reports, Budget, CAPEX and Revenue, Manpower Planning, Maintenance, Shutdown Jobs, Equipment Integrity

- Equipment specifications, Preventive maintenance, Break Downs Management, legal aspects, Manpower Planning, statutory requirements, Condition Monitoring, statutory Compliances and Audit compliances, Capable to plan preventive maintenance and having knowledge of predictive maintenance, Plant Trouble Shooting, Sub Station, HT & LT Switch gear & Equipment, VFD, Power Reports.
