Deputy General Manager - Cost Planning - Plant (10-15 yrs)
Job Description :
1. Develop and update the standard cost by product category, product sub-category and car model wise once a year based on the budget, ensuring standard costs are accurate and up-to-date
2. Work alongside Design & Development, SCM and Manufacturing Engineering teams to estimate costs for a new RFQ, and develop pricing strategies
3. Track actual-to-standard cost and investigate variances
4. Assess impact of BOM changes on standard cost, and recommend for approval of the same
5. Review and recommend for approval vendor price change proposals ensuring all compliance requirements are met
6. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis in the areas of product category cost, product sub-category cost and car model wise cost, as required by the CFO
7. Initiate and evaluate manufacturing cost reduction ideas; lead manufacturing cost reduction program
