DGM - Branding & Communication


Client is Looking for a great visualizer, planner, program manager and implementer to join the Group Communications team to deliver strong brand communications / ideas, impactful internal communications, branded merchandising and ensure smooth operations management.

Will report to Head and VP, Group Communications.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Strengthen and protect the brand of client and its companies through well planned and high quality and targeted external and internal branding, communication and marketing campaigns, including digital marketing.

2. Help curate, implement, and lead internal communications for the Group, ensuring high standards of communication that are relevant to the Groups plans and vision, with an outcome focus.

3. Drafts proposals for special branding, merchandising, website and social media branding projects and present to Head Group Communications.

4. Support JV Partners in their Global rebranding campaigns with client, when necessary

5. Responsible for establishing and enforcing stringent client brand guidelines across stakeholders both in internal and external.

6. Working and overseeing branding, strong vendor relationships, digital platforms branding of client in alignment with Head, Group Communications.

7. Conceptualize and execute innovative and inspiring communication and overall branding for events like Auto Expo, Technology Day, and other external and internal events with client events team.

8. Work with team to support events team for impactful branding and provide collaterals / merchandise in strict alignment with branding guidelines.

9. Ensure brand logos / taglines are protected via copyright/Trademark and check and rectify any incorrect representation of client brand or JVs brands or any misuse.

10. Work on any new Group branding strategy with Head of Group Communications; help ideate and drive implementation across Group and JVs, as well as external partners in a time-bound, smooth and tracked manner that is outcome focused.

11. Oversee and ensure timely and optimum quality production of stationery and merchandise.

12. Ensure timely adherences to all compliance requirements like reporting on Group Communications Budget, LIS dashboard, SAP etc.

Desired Profile :

a) Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing/Branding, Journalism or English required; Master's degree in management/Marketing/Marketing Communications needed.

b) Should have At least 10-12 years of experience in communications field required

c) Experienced in working with Senior Management in an articulate, time-sensitive and focused manner

d) Broad reading of the auto sector, economy, global business trends and global branding trends and themes

e) Strong experience in running branding campaigns, developing collaterals

f) Strong experience and understanding of digital branding (Web/social media), AR/VR and other new technologies for branding

g) Understanding of expos, stall fabrication, relevant digital technologies, and design experience and aesthetics

h) Good program management skills and exposure to crafting internal communications, employee engagement content and organizational change strategies
