Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within the manufacturing and export sectors, with a proven ability to lead financial operations, manage risk, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
- Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with financial regulations and audits.
Cost Management & Optimization:
- Monitor and control company-wide costs to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage working capital, and enhance cash flow.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
- Develop and implement robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.
- Manage foreign exchange risks related to export activities, ensuring effective hedging strategies are in place.
Treasury & Cash Management:
- Oversee the company's treasury operations, including cash flow management, fund allocation, and banking relationships.
- Ensure efficient management of the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and alignment with the company's financial goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Export Finance & Regulatory Compliance:
- Manage and optimize financial aspects of export transactions, including export credit, insurance, and financing.
- Ensure compliance with export-related financial regulations, including customs duties, taxes, and international trade laws.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in finance, accounting, and taxation.
- Minimum of 5- years of post-qualification experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, and export finance.
- Proven experience in managing internal controls, audits, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
