Deputy General Manager - Ad Sales - Print Media - South Region

We have requirement for DGM position in Chennai.-Leading Print Media Group

Requirement:

- Should have experience in Print background (mandate)

- Should have handled corporate clients

- Should be based out from Chennai itself

JD:

JOB SUMMARY

- The candidate will be responsible for developing business in all categories for HT Media in South Region (HT, HH & Mint)

- He/she will need to identify the potential in the market, and figure out means to tap into it

- He/she will need to put into action various strategies defined for the overall business

- He/she should have a good exposure to various sales processes

- He/she should have an experience of leading a team of Managers and their teams

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

- He/she will be reporting into the Head Media Marketing south

- He/she will need to liaison with the Marketing, Circulation and Editorial teams

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Primary Responsibilities):

- Will be responsible for the business development (Revenue, Market share, and yields) for various HT group publications

- Will be responsible for a team of Managers and Executives

- Will need to map the market for potential business

- Will need to look at new avenues of growth

- He will have to drive proper processes to ensure effective working of various members within the team, and also across various functions

- Should be hands-on on various sales tools e.g. Market share, yields etc
