Key Responsibilities:

The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial business strategy. As a member of the senior leadership team, Dy CFO will be an advisor to CFO and other Functional Heads, evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic modelling. S/he will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the CFO. S/he will be helping the CFO in convening of the Audit Committee of the Board. Will ensure that the entire treasury, accounting, and day-to-day cash management will report to her/him. Will support the CFO in External statutory audit functions.

Treasury Management

- Good relationship with global/domestic Banks/NBFCs.

- Representing the company to Banks, FI, FIIs, Rating Agencies, Debenture Trustees, Registrars, and Brokers/intermediaries to ensure that adequate credit limits are available which has in turn led to the development of extensive relationships.

- Support the development of executive-level analysis, briefings, & reports for and to senior leadership.

Strategy

- Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long-term business strategy. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and execution plans.

- Strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting - ensure preparation of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensure financial viabilities of business transactions, and ensure robust management information systems are in place

- Engage the audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery.

- Assisting the management in expansion plans including identifying and evaluating inorganic opportunities, negotiating the deal contours and ultimately consummating the deal. This would also comprise liaising with external agencies like lawyers, consulting firms and banker to undertake diligence exercise and identify appropriate solutions.

- Be part of discussions with reputed institutional investors like FPIs, MFs and family offices and assisting in resolving queries around Companys financial statements and business strategies.

Financial Management and Control

- Managing all finance and accounting operations for the Company and its subsidiaries / JVs.

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Around 5-7 Years of experience in Finance & Accounts from a listed Company

Education: CA - Qualified
