Deputy Chief Financial Officer - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

FMCG /D2C experience is a MUST with some bit of handling International business as well

CA /MBA (From TOP B Schools )is Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership:

- Provide data-driven financial insights, cost analyses, and scenario planning to support strategic and operational decision-making.

- Develop and oversee financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, long-range plans (LRP), and Latest Best Estimates (LBE), covering capital, expenses, and headcount.

- Lead the financial team, fostering development and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Controllership & Compliance:

- Ensure robust internal controls, accurate financial recordkeeping, and adherence to statutory requirements.

- Oversee the integrity of general ledger accounts, fiscal reporting, and the completion of journal entries and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with Operations Finance deadlines and drive successful completion of audits (SOX, internal, external).

Operational Finance:

- Manage factory financials and materials management to maintain supply-demand balance with optimal inventory controls.

- Collaborate with commercial teams to deliver precise volume forecasts, integrating them into financial planning cycles.

- Provide financial leadership for strategic product launches and initiatives, identifying opportunities and tracking trends.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Review and approve capital expenditure requests (RCEs) in line with company policies.

- Partner with operations teams to create budgets for strategic programs and initiatives.

- Present financial data in a clear, actionable format to enhance executive decision-making.

Investor Relations:

- Handle investor queries and provide timely, accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports.

- Support CXOs in investor meetings and communications.

Team Leadership:

- Guide, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.

- 15+ years of relevant finance experience, with exposure to multinational or FMCG environments preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence and collaborate with senior business leaders.

- Proven track record in driving financial performance and implementing strategic initiatives.

- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
