Position : Deputy Area Business Manager - Watches Retail

Job Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : Regional Business Manager

Scope of the role : Responsible for overall performance of all WOT, FT, MBOs, EBOs stores in the territory.

Job Profile :

- Lead the team of REs and staff at stores.

- Franchisee Management, Manage the current stores in the territory and identify opportunities for network expansion.

- Store Profitability

- Implementing local marketing initiatives to drive walk-ins.

- Implement and design processes to ensure that the experience of the customer is of the highest standard all the time across the retail formats.

- Ensure implementation of all required retail processes, in terms of VM, store maintenance, commercial and statutory requirements (MBOs).

- Business Development through network expansion.

- Retain talent through coaching and guidance. Reinforce usage of LMS.

- Reduce and manage controllable Costs / Budgets.

- Ensuring all service watches are meeting timeline.

Key Deliverables :

- Ensure that all the MBOs in the territory are profitable and achieve targeted top-line.

- Retail Metrics Achievement including AUPT, AVPT, Conversion, Repeat, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Mystery Audit, Lean Retailing practices, Kaizens, and NPS etc.

- High employee engagement scores in the region.

- Expansion in relevant catchment towns in the market as per budget.

- Like-to-like growth for existing stores.

- Network Expansion in relevant upcoming catchments.

- Enhance Look and feel by renovating, enhancing merchandise mix, and ensuring proper VM implementation across stores.

- Monitor Store Operations & ensure 100% Commercial Compliance.

- Device and implement retail improvement.

- Implementing Key Initiatives - Knowledge Management, etc.

The right person :

- Graduate/ Post Graduate in Management / MBA with 5 - 8 years of Life Style Industry handling MBOs (60% throught is a mandate)

- Should possess excellent people, communication and analytical skills apart from having a good grasp of retailing in general and store operations in particular.

- The person should possess high levels of energy, Willingness to travel extensively, should be able to deal with ambiguity, pay attention to detail and high level of interpersonal skills
