Dentsu India is seeking a highly skilled Manager/Senior Manager - Taxation with 2-5 years of experience in direct and indirect taxation.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing audits, handling assessments, and supporting financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :


- Direct Taxation Ensure timely TDS compliance, including monthly payments, return filings, Form 16A issuance, and rectification of defaults.

- Manage Equalization Levy payments and provide relevant certificates to vendors.

- Prepare income tax computations, annual return filings, and quarterly advance tax workings.

- Handle tax audit and transfer pricing audit reports preparation and filing.

- Assist consultants with income tax assessments, appeals, and hearings.

- File rectification applications under sections 143(1) and 154.

- Provide guidance on TDS applicability for domestic and international transactions.

- Ensure compliance with Statement of Financial Transactions (SFT) filings within deadlines.

- Prepare tax packs as required for global reporting.

- Indirect Taxation (GST Compliance) Calculate GST liabilities, reconcile ledgers, and ensure accuracy of reports.

- File GST returns (GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B) within prescribed timelines.

- Reconcile GST returns with books of accounts and manage payments/utilization entries.

- Prepare submissions for departmental audits related to GST and service tax.

- Address ASMT-10 notices, GSTR-1 vs 3B mismatches, and GSTR-2A vs 3B reconciliation.

- Provide expert advice on taxability, input tax credit, and GST-related queries.

- Draft replies to show cause notices, summons, and enquiry letters, and represent the company before tax authorities.

- Prepare annual GST filings (GSTR 9 & 9C).

Other Responsibilities :


- Prepare and submit month-end tax checklists (Blackline).

- Ensure timely tax-related journal entries.

- Provide data and reconciliations for statutory audits, group audits, and IFC audits.

Skills and Qualifications Required :


- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-5 years of relevant taxation experience.

- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws, including TDS, Equalization Levy, GST, and Transfer Pricing.

- Hands-on experience in filing tax returns, audits, assessments, and reconciliations.

- Expertise in tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory services.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and tax compliance software.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
