Role : Program Management - Developer Marketing
Years of Experience : 4 to 5 years
Dev Marketing Specialist Role :
- This position will assist in the day-to-day management and implementation of developer marketing programs including creating and tracking programs across brand, digital, analytics, content, event, email, and paid channels.
- The successful candidate should possess a keen attention to detail, remarkable follow-through, and an ability to focus on strategic agendas while keeping day-to-day job activities current.
Required Functional proficiency :
- 3-4 years- experience in building a developer relations program
- 4-5 years- experience in demand generation focused marketing organization
- Analytical skills and experience measuring data-driven marketing programs
- Knowledge in planning, executing and optimizing online and offline developer events including workshops, webinars, video tutorials and other opportunities
- Proven understanding of how to use inbound marketing and content marketing to generate leads/ audience engagement
- Passion for enabling developers and creativity in troubleshooting
Preferred Added Proficiency :
- Experience in participation of developer discussion forums
- Has built websites and microsites, and has a sound understanding of web design principles
General Proficiency :
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills demonstrated in blog posts and other written work desired
- Culture - Deepest commitment to compliance and ethical processes and code of conduct
- Collaboration - Ability to leverage others- skills and add one's skills to other's success
- Self-starter, highly motivated and ability to work in highly unstructured scenarios with an ability to multi-task and handle many projects simultaneously
- Work in highly time-bound assignments, and across client and vendor stakeholders
Key Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to :
- Drive developer content strategy and calendar, and oversee execution across channels (events, emails, blog, social, Web) in collaboration with relevant stake holders
- Working with the BG teams to create content that resonates with developers. This includes both written and visual (video, slides, etc.)
- Collecting and synthesizing feedback from the community engagement programs to help drive the marketing strategy
