Job Title: Revenue Assurance - Head

Reports to: CFO

Location: Delhi

Job Purpose:

In this position, the RA Head will be responsible for all aspects of revenue assurance including reporting, advanced data analysis, leakage management, leakage prevention, and business process change. They will monitor financial and operational metrics, work with other departments to implement best practices and define error resolution processes. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical skills to effectively drive the required activities.

Education Qualification

- Qualified Chartered Accountant professional

Relevant Experience

- 10 - 12 years of experience

- Solid knowledge of fundamental accounting principles

- Strong project management and planning skills

- Ability to write advanced SQL and analyze large data sets

- Strong PC software application skills including CEO CFO spreadsheets, databases, word processing an presentation software

- Advanced level experience in developing business objects reports

- The analytical mind which is able to process information logically delivering value-added analysis

- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

- Independent self-starter and flexible team player

- Ability to work overtime as required including nights and weekends

Principal Accountabilities and Key Deliverables :

1. Operations :

- Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of revenue streams

- Monitor collection processes for accuracy

- Reconcile activity between network elements and billing

- Create queries and reports to support ongoing monitoring of initiatives as well as ad-hoc reports as required

- Develop key recovery metrics

- Perform data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Business Objects, SQL and MS-Access

- Understand and aggregate revenue assurance activities across the business and ensure they are working effectively

- Analyze data/reports to identify opportunities and areas for improvement

- Create executive level reporting with 100% accuracy and advanced level presentation

2. Financial Information :

- Reviewing Broadband/Cable - Commission/Incentive working for LCO and Sales team and validating the same.

- Reviewing Broadband/Cable Revenue (Docsis, LAN, and ILL) and collection.

- Revenue Assurance Activity - Performing and observing RA reconciliation

- Revenue Assurance (Channel Bouquet Package Configuration Reconciliation)

- Reviewing Channel Bouquet PackageConfiguration Reconciliation

- Revenue Assurance (Base Pack and A-la-carte Reconciliation)

- Reviewing Base Pack and A-la-carte Reconciliation.

- Observing CAS vs SMS reconciliation

3. Risk Management :

- Participate in business process changes that may affect the company's ability to identify, monitor or collect revenue (e.g., new system implementations/upgrades, new product roll outs, etc.)

- Continuously work to understand and mitigate losses to ensure the highest levels of revenue recognition. Maintain in-depth understanding of industry trends relative to revenue assurance practices. Promote quality assurance for all processes impacting revenue.

- Partner with Marketing, Engineering, IT, and Operations to design, develop and implement best practices to minimize
revenue leakage

- TRAI PMR Sheet-All India and Broadcaster Audit

- Reviewing TRAI PMR Sheet-LCO Count, No of Subscribers Billed, Collection- at LCO etc.-

- Following up for broadcaster audit data and actions
