Looking for Demand Planning Manager role based at Mumbai for our FMCG client .

Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Science / Commerce.

Master's Degree in Operations Management / Logistics / Operations Research / Supply Chain / Materials Management

Job Location : Mumbai

The Role will reports to Supply Chain Director .

10 + years of total experience which includes minimum 5-7 years of business forecasting experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods industry

Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), VMI and Sales Operations Planning processes (S&OP). Knowledge of one or more of the major statistical forecasting software packages (i.e. SAP APO, Logility, Manugistics). Specific knowledge with SAP desired.

Expert in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Access and Excel.

Strong analytical and statistical skills. Good understanding of Normal Distribution concept and Statistical Process Control process and tools .Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication (both written and oral),presentation, influencing

Leads Innovation : Champions new ideas and approaches within demand planning, taking into consideration broad organizational issues .Ability to bring creative ideas of others to fruition

Delivers Outstanding Results : In results-focused and takes initiative for achieving goals and objectives resulting in improved forecast accuracy . Leads efforts that create an organizational culture that fosters flawless execution.

Critical Thinking :Gathers, organizes, and assesses data/input necessary to break down complex problems into manageable parts. Able to analyze both factual and non quantifiable aspects of situations.

Communication : Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups Provides forecast information that people need to know to do their jobs.

Interpersonal Effectiveness : Builds effective relationships with people at all levels Communicates differing points of view in ways that bring about constructive change and the accomplishment of group goals
